Best of all, when making payments online through SVP, your financial information stays at the bank and remains private and secure.
SVP is available to our checking customers currently enrolled in OnLine Access Internet banking. Payments can be made to any merchant participating in SVP – this includes online shopping payments as well as payment of bills at merchant sites. A recent addition to the SVP participating merchant list is the University of Georgia. Customers can now pay UGA tuition, fees and expenses online – it’s fast, easy and more secure than any other way to pay online. To see a list of all currently participating merchants, click on “Complete Merchant List” at right.
When you’re ready to pay,
- Choose the Secure Vault Payments (SVP) option. Just look for the SVP logo.
- Select our bank name from the list of participating banks. SVP will automatically direct you to the SVP login page for your bank. Use your current OnLine Access User ID, password, and security questions to login.
- Once logged in, select the account from which the payment should be made. We’ll verify that funds are available in your account and authorize your transaction. The payment is securely transferred to the merchant or biller; and the funds will be automatically deducted from your checking account. The transaction appears on your checking account statement and in OnLine Access as “SVP Debit” or “SVP Credit”.
- That’s it – you’re done! You are returned to the merchant or biller to complete the process. The entire transaction was completed without any transmission of your personal financial information over the internet. Because your personal information is not transferred over the Internet or stored by a third party, there is less risk of fraud
*Regular checking account fees apply.
